How It Works

1. Tell someone about Sedman Photography.

Share this page with a friend, family member, coworker, or anyone else you think would be a great fit for Sedman Photography.

2. Make sure they mention you.

The new client needs to tell me who referred them before their booking is completed.

3. They book Sedman Photography.

Once the new client completes their booking and the required retainer or session payment has been received, the referral rewards are earned.

4. You both get rewarded.

They receive their new-client referral benefit and you receive your referral reward.

Who Qualifies as a New Client?

Referral rewards apply when an existing Sedman Photography client refers someone who is a new Sedman Photography customer.

A new customer is someone who has not previously booked photography services with Sedman Photography.

If you've worked with Sedman Photography before, you're already an existing client. While you aren't eligible to receive a new-client referral credit, you can earn referral credits of your own by introducing new clients to Sedman Photography.

For example, maybe I photographed your wedding several years ago and now it's time for family portraits. Refer a new client to me and you can earn a referral credit to use toward your own photography.

New clients receive a referral benefit. Existing clients earn referral benefits.

How much can I earn?

There's no limit to the number of new clients you can refer.

Refer a new Wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah client and you can earn a $250 Sedman Photography credit.

Refer a new Portrait client and you can earn a $100 print credit.

Send me another new client and you can earn another credit.

What can I use my $250 referral credit for?

Your $250 Wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah referral credit can be used toward anything Sedman Photography offers.

That includes photography services, session fees, event coverage, prints, albums, digital images, and other available Sedman Photography products and services.

What can I use my $100 portrait referral credit for?

The $100 Portrait referral reward is specifically a print credit.

It can be applied toward eligible physical printed photographs and print products purchased directly from Sedman Photography.

The $100 print credit cannot be applied toward portrait session fees or digital image files.

Can I earn more than one referral credit?

Absolutely.

There is no limit to the number of qualified referral credits you can earn.

Can I combine referral credits?

Yes. Referral credits earned from multiple qualified referrals may be accumulated.

Referral credits cannot be redeemed for cash and are subject to the other terms of the referral program.

Can I combine a referral credit with another discount or promotion?

Referral credits cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, special offers, or special pricing unless specifically stated otherwise.

Can someone say I referred them after they've already booked?

Unfortunately, no.

The new client must identify you as the person who referred them before their booking is completed. Referral credits cannot be applied retroactively.

What if two people refer the same person?

A new client can only be associated with one referring client.

The person identified by the new client when they first contact Sedman Photography will receive the referral credit.

Can I give my referral credit to someone else?

No. Referral credits are issued to the person who earned them and are not transferable.

Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

What happens if the person I referred cancels?

If the referred client cancels their booking, any referral rewards associated with that booking will also be cancelled.

Do referral credits expire?

Yes. Referral credits expire two years from the date they are issued.

Referral Program Terms

The Sedman Photography Give & Get Referral Program is available to existing Sedman Photography clients who refer new customers.

A new customer is defined as someone who has not previously booked photography services with Sedman Photography.

The new customer must identify their referring client before completing their booking. Referral rewards cannot be applied retroactively.

Referral rewards are earned after the referred client has completed their booking and Sedman Photography has received the required retainer or session payment.

Wedding and Bar/Bat Mitzvah referrals provide a $250 Sedman Photography credit to the qualifying new client and a $250 Sedman Photography credit to the qualifying referring client. These credits may be applied toward eligible Sedman Photography services or products.

Portrait referrals provide a $100 print credit to the qualifying new client and a $100 print credit to the qualifying referring client. Portrait referral credits apply exclusively to eligible physical printed photographs and print products and may not be applied toward session fees or digital image files.

Referral credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable.

A new client may only be associated with one referring client.

If a referred client cancels their booking, referral rewards associated with that booking will be cancelled.

Referral credits expire two years from the date they are issued.

Referral credits cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, special offers, or special pricing unless otherwise stated by Sedman Photography.
